It’s important to know that your registration and membership for Red Tunas are managed by Blue Marlins.
Digital registration
Registering with Red Tunas via Blue Marlins can be done via the online registration form from the KNZB. We will receive your registration right away and you can start immediately or on the date you indicated. To make sure we can process your registration correctly, please:
- Select SWIMMING – Week/Swimming Under “Your membership”
- Are you transferring from another swimming club? Please enter your details of this club in the form, so that we can properly take over competition matters, for example. You can ask your relationship code to the membership administrator of your club.
- At the question: “In which department are you going to swim?”, please select “Red Tunas’.
We advise to fill in the form on a computer/laptop. There are some problems with the mobile version of the KNZB registration form.
Membership Terms and Conditions
Registration of new members can only take place on the basis of the following conditions:
- Registration is done by submitting the online registration form.
- Members under the age of eighteen need permission from their legal representative to join Red Tunas.
- To cancel your membership we require a notice period of one calendar month. Notice must be given in writing or by email via: info@blue-marlins.nl
- Any fines imposed on a member of Red Tunas / Blue Marlins by the KNZB or disciplinary committee, as well as any transfer costs, will be charged to the members concerned.
Frequently asked questions
When does my membership start?
Your membership starts directly after you send the registration form to us. Or from the date you've specified as startdate in the form.
After you've submitted the registration form, you'll automatically receive a confirmation e-mail. This is also the confirmation that we have received your registration.
What are the costs associated to the membership?
To be a member of Red Tunas you have to pay the monthly fee mentioned on our website.
At first invoice we will also charge a €15,- registration fee and €21,50 KNZB-fee.
The KNZB-fee is a yearly fee that we charge every January. The fee depends on if you participate in competitions:
- €21,50 if you only train with us
- €66,50 is you also compete in swim meets
How can I cancel my membership?
Sad to hear you are thinking about cancelling your membership!
You can cancel your membership by sending a mail to ledenadminstratie@blue-marlins.nl. They will process the membership cancellation for you.
Please note that there is a cancellation notice periode of 1 calendar month.
